All Teknion Manufacturing Facilities Operating

Teknion restarted all our factories in North America and international markets. We have been building capacity every day as we work through our backlog and take care of essential business and serve customers.

 

Currently, some notable customer orders we are working on include: UVA University Hospital, LifeBanc (organ donation) and US Foods; University Health Network (UHN) and the Children's Aid Society in Toronto; Alberta Health Services; and, one of our most recent new customers, Spartan Bioscience in Ottawa who have developed a revolutionary hand-held machine to quickly and accurately test for Covid 19.

Our customer activity levels remain stronger than we would have anticipated across all markets. Our Creative Collaboration resources are fully engaged to bring innovative solutions to our customers – many of whom are preparing to bring their office workers back to work with new safeguards and social distancing protocols. Our teams are working with clients like 

Rogers, Royal Bank of Canada and others to create custom products such as barrier shields and privacy screens. In Quebec we are working to create portable booths for local hospitals.

We have also been working to develop medical isolation gowns, and other Personal Protective Equipment such as visors, to supply to healthcare institutions that so badly need PPE.

The health and safety of our employees remains paramount as we strive to support clients and respond to the immediate needs of our health care community. Stringent safety protocols for all employees are in place.
