Teknion Boutique Surfaces

Boutique Surfaces is Teknion’s new, diverse and trend-focused collection of materials and finishes. It celebrates Teknion's ability to manufacture various custom materials and finishes, while removing complexities inherent in custom projects. To remain agile as trends shift, the finishes are offered through a focused and coordinated special on products rather than as a standard.

Boutique Surfaces will evolve to provide designers with opportunities for unique emotive expressions in cafes, lounge and other collaborative environments.

The collection comprises wood veneers, Fenix laminates for application on worksurfaces and tinted glass for divider screens.

Rustic Oak is a White Oak veneer that showcases the visual character and authenticity of wood through its variations in color, grain and knot inclusions. The veneer format is randomly sequenced accentuate the contrast between veneer sections. The veneer is also brushed to heighten its surface variation and to add a tactile quality.

Alpi exotic veneers are crafted in Italy with a recognized sustainability story. They are known for their consistent quality, color and veneer pattern. These veneers offer a unique visual vocabulary for areas where a high design expression is desired.

Fenix is a high performance laminate manufactured by Arpa, in Italy. It is best known for attributes such as anti-fingerprint, extreme low gloss (soft touch) and self-healing properties. This laminate is paired with a matching flat edge, or a ply edge with a flat or knife detail.

Tinted Glass for dividers and desk screens offer a lux quality to spaces and furniture compositions. It is available in two thicknesses of 6mm and 10mm to suit various screen applications.
