Teknion Studio today announced the preview of its the new Cavu Tables Collection at NeoCon – the commercial interiors industry’s most important annual event – June 15-17 at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago.
Designed to be part of an office space in constant change, the Cavu family of wooden tables makes workplace meetings and communication experiences much more comfortable and inviting. The design provides several options of coffee tables with different sizes, meeting tables of different heights to make meetings more relaxed and comfortable, and high tables for meetings with stools or standing.
“The design celebrates the beauty and flexibility of wood as a material,” said Mario Ruiz. “The forms and joinery of Cavu provide the sense of a hand-built object with unique, flowing details. A center support beam pierces the supports and the legs feature a simple reveal on the front face. The exacting execution of this unique design creates forms that are visually striking and light.”
The Cavu collection encompasses bar-height, casual conferencing, dining-height, coffee and occasional tables in multiple top sizes and heights.
A Parson Table is available in lengths of 72, 96 and 120 inches. The 42-inch height makes it perfect for quick, standing collaboration or a seated meeting using bar-height stools. These beautifully crafted tables are available in six different wood finishes. Floating shelves are available in different finishes.
Cavu Casual Conference Tables create informal meeting spaces while suffusing warmth and beauty in any scenario. These tables are available in different diameters and six different wood finishes.
Optional integrated power makes working at Cavu tables easy. Consisting of power and USB plugs, a small circular grommet is unobtrusive and keeps the user connected at all times.
