Teknion a global leader in workplace furniture and design, today announced a new partnership with the Toronto Tempo, Canada’s first ever Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) franchise. As the Official Office Furniture Partner, Teknion will bring its global design expertise to Toronto’s Coca-Cola Coliseum. The partnership reflects the company’s longstanding belief that well-designed spaces elevate the people and communities within them, and a shared commitment to advancing women's sports.
Teknion will furnish Coca-Cola Coliseum’s premium courtside loges—12 custom-built spaces on each side of the court, designed to offer an unobstructed, comfortable view of the action and seamless removal and reset before each home game. Teknion is also outfitting all suites throughout the arena with its Banqs, Nami, and Sprout collections over the course of the partnership.
“Teknion is proud to be a partner of the Toronto Tempo,” said David Feldberg, CEO and President of Teknion. “As a Canadian organization committed to community impact, we’re excited to support Canada’s first WNBA team as it transforms the landscape of women’s sports in our city and across the nation."
To mark the partnership, Teknion will host Tempo partners and clients at its Montreal showroom on July 10, 2026, coinciding with the team’s home game against the Dallas Wings at Bell Centre. The event will bring together members of the Tempo’s business community for an exclusive look at Teknion’s latest workplace design offerings.
"The Tempo represents something truly special for this country, ” said David Patterson, President, Teknion Canadian/CALAM Sales. “We’re proud to bring our design expertise to Coca-Cola Coliseum and to be part of this historic moment for women’s sports in Canada.”
The partnership reflects a natural alignment between Teknion and the Tempo; the Coca-Cola Coliseum sits steps from Teknion’s Toronto headquarters, and the two share a belief that their role in the community is inseparable from their work.
“We are excited to partner with Teknion to craft unique spaces that enhance the fan experience and bring our supporters together,” said Lisa Ferkul, Chief Revenue Officer, Toronto Tempo. “Collaborating with local companies helps us create a home-court advantage not only for our team but also for our community.”
The 2026 season is currently underway, with the regular season running through September 24, 2026, followed by the WNBA playoffs in October. As the Official Office Furniture Partner, Teknion is honored to be part of the Tempo’s inaugural season.
