This June, during Design Days in Chicago’s Fulton Market, Luum Textiles debuts “Concept. Color. Craft.”,
a showroom activation that highlights the brand's evolution from its inception in 2016 to the present day in 2026.
To mark 10 years of crafting award-winning collections, two new collections by Creative Director Dorothy Cosonas will be on view, along with arresting visual displays that share the studio’s approach to product development and color.
Designed by Creative Director Dorothy Cosonas and the Luum Creative team, Luum's showroom is located on the 7th floor of 800 W Fulton St (entrance at 311 North Green St). The light-filled space provides a backdrop to showcase the brand’s
vibrant mix of products, from textiles to wallcoverings to drapery, in a setting that welcomes the design community to interact with the materials and installations.
Anchoring the showroom are the two newest award-winning collections designed by Dorothy Cosonas. Beyond The Surface (launched in February
2026) and Craft Work (launched in May 2026) explore the brand's aesthetic evolution since Cosonas joined the Luum Textiles team in January 2025, while staying
true to the core principles of design, usability, and sustainability.
Alongside the materials, a 10-year timeline traces the 30 collection launches between 2016 and 2025. Major milestones that defined Luum's first decade will be highlighted and celebrated. “Reaching 10 years is a significant milestone,
and Design Days felt like the right moment to honor that creative journey,” says Dorothy Cosonas, Creative Director at Luum Textiles.
At the heart of the showroom, a wall installation displaying 31 distinct color moments using a plethora of swatches from the Luum Creative team’s NYC resource library offers a glimpse into their process. It also showcases important
quotes on color by artists, designers, and tastemakers. “This focus on color is meant to inspire architects and designers on what it takes to get to the end result. We are excited to learn everyone’s favorite color story,” says
Cosonas.
In conjunction with the launch of the IKONstudio brand, the showroom will also feature a refreshed leather for style Pela in 25 hues.
"I've had the privilege of watching Luum grow from our very first collection into a globally recognized resource for design-driven textiles over the past 10 years, " says Dave White, President of Luum Textiles. "We welcome the architecture
and design community to experience this year’s showroom activation and thank our partners, clients, and end users who have helped us reach this significant milestone.”
