The Library is designed to take advantage of AutoDesk's iDrop ® technology that allows a user to "drag-n-drop" symbols from the web based library directly into an AutoCAD drawings session or any iDrop compatible software. If the user does not have AutoCAD the symbols can also be downloaded and then placed into any dwg compatible software. Additionally, images (jpg) and DXF files are also available for download should they be required. Note that this technology is limited to using Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 or higher. Users should ensure that they download and install the iDrop plug-in for Internet Explorer, available at www.autodesk.com
